Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering relevant diagnostic tests, and designing tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health conditions, either in collaboration with physicians or independently as permitted
• Providing education to patients and their families on preventive healthcare, wellness strategies, and disease management techniques
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapeutic interventions within your scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-up and chronic care management
• Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide cohesive, patient-centered care
• Maintaining accurate and complete documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) credential
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licensing and Certification Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Michigan
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or corresponding specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the capability to obtain them within 90 days)
