Your Role and Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, recommending tests, and developing tailored treatment plans
• Diagnosing and addressing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues collaboratively with physicians or independently, depending on your credentials
• Empowering patients and their families with knowledge about prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies within your practice scope
• Engaging in ongoing patient follow-up and management of chronic conditions
• Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
• Maintaining accurate and complete records in electronic medical records (EMR)

Education and Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program

Mandatory Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Michigan
• National certification either as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or relevant specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications or ability to obtain within 90 days
