The Workforce Partnership Specialist (Part-Time) serves as the operational bridge between Career Bound participants across Palm Beach County and off-site corporate partners within the Career Bound: Life & Workforce Readiness Initiative. This role supports a specialized cohort of workforce readiness participants ages 14–18 attending the Conner Workforce Readiness Hub in Palm Beach County.

Functioning as a case manager and supporting the Corporate Partnership Director, this position is designed to close the gap between participant success and off-site corporate partner engagement ensuring every member has the individualized support, guidance, and connections needed to thrive.

Key Roles (Essential Responsibilities):

• Recruit and enroll eligible youth (ages 14–18) into the Career Bound: Life & Workforce Readiness cohort through Club outreach, school partnerships, and community referrals.
• Coordinate intake documentation, eligibility verification, and participant onboarding.
• Serve as the primary case manager for a specialized cohort of workforce readiness participants.
• Develop individualized workforce readiness plans aligned with each participant’s interests, goals, and career pathway.
• Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to monitor progress, remove barriers, and celebrate milestones.
• Maintain consistent communication with participants via phone, text, email, and in-person check-ins.
• Manage participant records and applications within the Optimal Path workforce readiness platform.
• Track outcomes including certifications earned, placements completed, and credential attainment.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress reports for the Corporate Partnership Director.
• Coordinate member placements for internships, job shadowing, summer employment, and employer visits.
• Serve as the liaison between participants, families, employers, and Club staff throughout the placement process.
• Manage employer paperwork, timesheets, worksite expectations, and required follow-up documentation.
• Provide direct administrative support to the Corporate Partnership Director.
• Assist with logistics for career fairs, employer panels, hiring events, recognition ceremonies and Alumni efforts.
• Ensure compliance with grant requirements, confidentiality standards, and documentation expectations.

Relationships:

• Internal: Maintains close working relationships with the Corporate Partnership Director, Workforce Readiness Program Director, Executive Club Directors, Program Directors, Teen Development Professionals, and Workforce Readiness Center staff to coordinate programming and member success.
• E xternal: Develops and maintains professional relationships with employers, business partners, educational institutions, community agencies, parents, and families to support successful member outcomes and career pathway development.

Skills & Knowledge Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, Education, Workforce Development, Social Work, or related
• field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 1–5 years of experience in youth development, case management, career readiness, or employment services.
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with teens and motivate young people toward educational and career success.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage participant data, maintain records, and prepare accurate reports.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with youth, families, employers, and organizational leadership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and workforce/case management platforms.
• Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends to support programming and special events.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License with satisfactory driving record.
• Successful completion of National Criminal History Background Screening, Level II FBI Fingerprint
• Screening, National Sex Offender Registry Screening, and drug screening.
