Operating Room Registered NurseOperating Room Registered Nurse position available. Candidate must have scrub and circulate experience. Travel experience is required; no first-timers accepted. The unit specializes in pediatric patients ages newborn to 17 years. The unit has a total of 30 beds for surgical procedures. Candidate will need to participate in call shifts, 6-8 times per month. The schedule may include either 5x8s or 4x10s, with varying start and end times. Candidates must have worked within a pediatric setting as well as in women's specialty. Robotic experience is highly regarded. Candidate must be willing to self-schedule call shifts during weeknights and weekends. Self-scheduling will not float to sister facilities. Blocked schedules cannot be guaranteed; flexibility to meet unit needs is essential. Flu shot is mandatory unless a medical exemption is provided. COVID-19 vaccine is not required for this position. Two manager or charge nurse references from the past two years are necessary.
