We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team and support the technology needs of our growing organization.The IT Support Specialist delivers first-line technical support to Coastal Forest Products employees, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 technologies, warehouse operational systems, and physical security infrastructure. Serving as the primary point of contact for support requests, this role is responsible for timely resolution and escalation while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.This position is 100% on-site in Bow, NH. Remote, hybrid, and relocation assistance are not available for this role. Applicants must be able to reliably commute to Bow, NH daily.Employee Benefits IncludeGenerous Paid Time Off, 3 Weeks PTO Upon HireMedical, Dental, and Vision Benefits401(k) Savings Plan with 4% Company MatchCompany-Paid Holidays, Disability Benefits, and Life InsuranceEmployee Discount on Building Materials and more!Essential Job ResponsibilitiesServes as the first point of contact for support requests via ticketing system, phone, or in person.Records, tracks, and documents helpdesk requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.Provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for end-user and warehouse operational issues.Escalates complex issues to the IT Manager or vendors as needed to ensure timely resolution.Creates and maintains knowledgebase articles for common issues and recurring procedures.Supports desktops, laptops, desk phones, and iOS mobile devices.Troubleshoots network connectivity for users, wireless scanners, handheld devices, and IoT devices.Monitors, supports, and troubleshoots physical security infrastructure including CCTV and access controls.Coordinates with Facilities and external vendors for security system repairs and maintenance.Maintains documentation for security systems, device inventories, and user permissions.Supports AV equipment including TVs, projectors, and audio systems.Required Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience2–4 years of IT support experienceProficiency with Microsoft 365 including SharePoint, OneDrive, and TeamsExperience supporting iOS devicesBasic networking knowledge — Wi-Fi troubleshooting, DHCP/DNS, Active DirectoryExperience supporting VoIP or cloud PBX telephony platformsExperience with printers, scanners, and handheld devicesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesPreferred QualificationsExperience with WMS, ERP systems, or RF scanner devicesExperience with wireless networking and ethernet switchingExperience with Azure AD / Entra IDExperience supporting CCTV and badge/access control systemsPhysical & Environmental ConditionsAble to sit for extended periods of time.Ability to lift 50 lbs.Early morning, evening, holiday, and/or weekend work may occasionally be requiredJob Type/Location/ScheduleFull-time / Exempt/Regular Attendance RequiredThe IT Support Specialist works in office on-site 100% at our headquarters in Bow, New HampshireWorking at Coastal also gives you access to additional perks such as:Access to On-site GymAccess to On-site Golf SimulatorEmployee Discount Program on ProductsProduct Training and Professional Development OpportunitiesBuild your future with Coastal and apply today!
