Oakhill Dental Associates is seeking a skilled and compassionate Full-Time Dental Assistant (DA) to join our team! As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dentists and other team members to provide exceptional dental care to our patients as well as perform light administrative duties. We have a small team so each of us are cross-trained to help in every department. Oakhill Current Schedule:

• Monday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Tuesday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Wednesday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Thursday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Schedule will be changing soon to Derksen's Schedule:

• Monday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• Tuesday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Wednesday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Thursday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Our dedicated team includes:

• Two FT Dentists
• One FT Front Desk Coordinator
• Two FT Registered Dental Hygienist (a few temps on call)
• One FT Dental Assistant

Requirements:

• X-Ray certification in state of Michigan preferred
• Coronal Polish/Sealant Certification preferred but not required
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Chairside dental assisting with a wide range of general dentistry procedures
• Sterilization protocols to OSHA regulations
• CPR certification
• Computer efficiency- charting and scheduling
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to build lasting relationships with teammates and patients
• Integrity-focused work ethic
• Team-player attitude
• Ability to multi-task
• Open-minded to new systems/techniques, direction and feedback
