Job Description:
Bon Secours - Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking a locum OB Hospitalist to cover shifts at their teaching hospital. This role involves L&D coverage with a focus on both low and high-risk pregnancies in a Level III nursery setting. The schedule includes multiple shifts, notably 24-hour coverage periods and shorter daytime shifts over several weekends in July and August. The facility supports collaborative care with OB residents and midwives, and offers extensive OB procedures, including deliveries and gynecological surgeries. Support staff includes residents and nursing staff, with onsite lab and ultrasound services.


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide labor and delivery coverage, including routine and complex deliveries
• Manage high and low-risk pregnancies
• Perform OB ultrasounds and FHR interpretation
• Assist with gynecological procedures and surgeries as required
• Collaborate with OB residents and nursing staff to ensure quality patient care

Requirements:

• Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Experience in high-risk obstetric care preferred
• Ability to work independently during scheduled shifts
• Must be licensed in Ohio
