- Provide occupational therapy services to residents in a long-term care setting
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments; develop, implement, and monitor OT treatment plans
- Deliver therapy sessions targeting activities of daily living, upper-extremity function, mobility, and cognitive engagement
- Document progress and treatment plans in the electronic medical record; collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Educate residents and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety, and discharge planning
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards Requirements
- Active Maryland license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in good standing
- Current certification as an OTA
- Education: Associate degree from an accredited OTA program
- Experience: prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred
