One Covenant Community, Continuing Education Administrator (PT)

Position Summary North Park Theological Seminary is seeking to hire a half‑time Continuing Education Administrator who will serve as the primary implementer of the continuing education initiative of “One Covenant Community,” a five‑year, large‑scale collaborative project funded by the Lilly Endowment’s Pathways for Tomorrow Initiative. The Administrator will support the design process and build resulting systems, programs, and resources, working under the direction of project and working group leaders. This role requires someone who brings research skills, systems expertise, and strong follow‑through — and who thrives in an environment where the work is still taking shape. This is a time‑limited position, to end December 31, 2030. Reports to project director. Duties and Responsibilities Support the work of the Continuing Education Team as it designs and implements a denominational continuing education system spanning hub development, program recommendations, and culture of lifelong learning initiatives. Coordinate and execute the development and launch of the continuing education hub. Organize and catalog continuing education resources across ECC conferences, denominational ministries, North Park Theological Seminary, and partner institutions. Support the development of a clear and accessible catalog of available learning opportunities. Research and recommend programs, learning resources, and partnerships that could be offered or supported through the system. Build and create platforms, tools, documents, and processes for continuing education delivery and evaluation. Support the ongoing evaluation and improvement of continuing education offerings through designing and implementing an effective, sustainable evaluation system. Assist with documentation and reporting related to project progress and grant deliverables. Work collaboratively with the Continuing Education Team, project director, and denominational partners to support the development and implementation of the continuing education initiative across all three focus areas. Coordinate regularly with the Continuing Education Team and project leadership. Conduct research and prepare background materials that inform the team's recommendations and decisions. Support the implementation of recommendations developed by the team. Manage follow‑up communications with ECC leaders, conferences, and partner institutions to ensure alignment and momentum across the continuing education ecosystem. Support the operational rhythm of the Continuing Education Team and help maintain implementation momentum between meetings. Schedule online meetings and help prepare and distribute agendas and meeting materials in collaboration with project leaders. Prepare research summaries and background materials to support the team's discussion and decision‑making. Follow up on meeting action items related to implementation — doing the legwork needed to move decisions forward between meetings. Collect and organize materials needed for meetings, program development, and project documentation. Maintain shared project files and documentation related to continuing education initiatives. The responsibilities of this role may evolve as the continuing education initiative develops and implementation structures become more clearly defined. Essential Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Experience in project coordination, program administration, or nonprofit program management Strong organizational and communication skills Experience with learning management systems, digital platforms, or similar systems; ability to evaluate platform options and communicate tradeoffs to non‑technical decision‑makers Ability to manage multiple initiatives and coordinate across diverse partners Ability to work collaboratively with denominational leaders, pastors, and ministry organizations Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a distributed team environment Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in ministry, education, nonprofit leadership, or related field Denominational or conference experience Knowledge of Covenant institutions and distinctives Salary Range for this position is $30,000 per year #J-18808-Ljbffr North Park University
