Receiving Clerk
Location: NW Houston
Pay: $17-$18 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Lofton Staffing is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk for a client located in NW Houston. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse receiving operations, forklift operation, inventory control, and shipment verification.

Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
Verify materials against packing slips, purchase orders, and receiving documents
Unload deliveries and organize inventory within the warehouse
Operate forklifts safely to move and stage materials
Maintain accurate inventory and receiving records
Identify and report damaged goods or shipment discrepancies
Keep receiving and warehouse areas clean and organized
Assist with inventory tracking and inbound warehouse operations

Requirements:

Previous receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience required
Forklift experience required
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift and move heavy materials throughout the shift
Basic computer skills for inventory management and data entry
Must be able to pass a drug screen
