Project Manager I

Job Overview The Project Manager I will be responsible for assisting with the planning, execution, and closing of small to medium-sized construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality specifications. Responsibilities Assist senior project managers and superintendents with project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and assist in developing solutions to keep projects on track. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on all project sites. Participate in project meetings, providing updates and contributing to problem-solving discussions. Assist in managing project budgets, tracking expenses, and processing invoices. Support the procurement of materials and equipment as needed. Contribute to the identification and mitigation of project risks. Learn and apply company project management methodologies and best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience. 0-3 years of experience in project management, preferably within the construction or utility infrastructure industry. Basic understanding of construction principles, project scheduling, and budgeting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites as required. OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
