for Human Development (RHD), supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through person-centered services designed to promote independence, skill development, community engagement, and overall quality of life.As a Lead Direct Support Professional, you'll work closely with the Program Manager, Direct Support Professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure individuals operations while providing direct care and leadership within the program.You'll serve as a mentor and role model for Direct Support Professionals while helping ensure services are delivered in accordance with each individual's support plan and applicable regulatory standards.Your Responsibilities May Include:Leadership & Staff MentoringMentor, train, observe, and support Direct Support Professionals.Provide feedback regarding implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs).Model professional and positive interactions with individuals receiving services.Promote teamwork, accountability, and quality service delivery.Support staff development through coaching and guidance.Collaborate with management and internal departments to ensure quality programming.Direct Support & Individual ServicesProvide direct support and care to individuals receiving services.Assist individuals in developing and maintaining independent living skills.Support community participation and individual choice.Promote person-centered and trauma-informed services.Ensure services are delivered according to individual goals and support plans.Encourage growth, independence, and self-determination.Program OperationsAssist with preparation and coordination of daily program operations.Develop and maintain organizational systems within assigned areas.Monitor implementation of supports outlined in Individual Service Plans.Support quality services and efficient program operations.Collaborate with management regarding program needs and priorities.Documentation & ComplianceFollow incident management and reporting procedures.Complete documentation accurately and on time.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements.Follow OSHA, fire safety, HR, fiscal, and organizational policies.Attend required trainings and meetings.Demonstrate professionalism and sound judgment at all other electronic systemsUnderstanding of trauma-informed care and creating trauma-informed environmentsValid Driver's LicenseReliable transportationSuccessful completion of required background clearances, including FBI clearanceAbility to pass required pre-employment drug screeningPreferredAssociate or Bachelor's DegreeTwo years of experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or mental health challengesPrevious leadership, mentoring, or training experienceSchedule & CompensationFull-Time$19.00/hourSioux Falls, SD 57105Schedule flexibility may be required based on business needs.Evening, weekend, and location flexibility may be required.Physical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, twist, and climb stairs.Ability to drive a vehicle as required.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds regularly.Ability to perform direct support duties in a variety of
