A Speech Language Pathologist (Inpatient) position is available in Hilo, Hawaii. The role involves providing inpatient speech therapy services with a focus on rehabilitation and acute care settings. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. This position starts on 08/03/2026 and features a generally set schedule of five days per week, with potential floating to other units or facilities based on census and staffing needs.

Job Details:

• Location: Hilo, Hawaii
• Schedule: Generally set schedule of 5 days per week, including 1 weekend day; shift hours are 12 hours per day, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Certification in Speech Language Pathology
  • Hawaii rehab licensure in the appropriate discipline
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum 0 years of experience (preferably with SNF or rehab hospital experience)
  • Ability to independently complete Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBS) in radiology without supervision by a radiologist
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience, preferably within SNF or rehab hospital settings
• Additional Information:
  • Must arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend employee health appointment on Friday
  • EMR documentation training will be provided, utilizing Epic software
  • Dress code is scrubs or as per the facility's dress code policies
  • Floating to other units or departments may be required depending on census and staffing needs
  • Possible floating to another facility depending on operational requirements
