Quality Engineer

Benefits Four (4) healthcare plans to choose from PTO & Paid Holidays Company‑paid life insurance Long and short‑term disability 401k with yearly arbitrary match Responsibilities Support and maintain the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) Create and maintain quality documentation, procedures, and work instructions Participate in APQP activities to support new product development and production launches Review customer contracts and engineering documentation to ensure quality requirements are met Develop inspection methods, product quality metrics, and inspection plans Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to identify and monitor critical product characteristics Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies to monitor and improve manufacturing processes Prepare quality documentation including PPAPs, FMEAs, Control Plans, First Article Inspections (FAI), and related deliverables Qualifications Experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and First Article Inspection (FAI) Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) Knowledge of Gage R&R methodologies Experience leading corrective and preventive actions using root cause analysis Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies *Blue Chip Talent will not be sponsoring visas or accepting C2C for this position at this time.
