B.H. Inc., of Vernal, Utah , is searching for a full-time Structural Designer to design/model and detail the design of moderately complex projects while working closely with the Structural Engineering teams to facilitate the successful accomplishment of project goals and objectives. This position will be based out of our Vernal, Utah Corporate office, North Salt Lake Office, or Logan, Utah Office.

We are willing to pay for the best candidate for this Structural Designer/Modeler role. If you have what we're looking for, your salary is highly negotiable and could exceed our range of $70,000 to $110,000 depending on experience. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A Structural Designer/Modeler

• 5+ years of related professional experience or other comparable experience.

• Experience using Autodesk CAD and 3D Modeling Software (AutoCAD 3D, Revit, Etc.).

• Knowledge and experience in the following is preferred, but not required.

• Architectural design and layout using Revit or other similar software.

• Structural design and layout using Revit or other similar software.

• Structural steel fabrication detailing (not required, but preferred).

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Structural Designer/Modeler

As the Structural Designer/Modeler within our engineering division, you will work with a range of differing projects. You will pay attention to detail and be proficient in gathering project details and communicating with our structural engineering and fabrication teams. You play an essential part in preparing 3D models and engineered plans and details, following design codes and governmental regulations, and creating drafting models using CAD and 3D Modeling software. You will help to identify and address potential issues promptly.

In addition, as a Structural Designer/Modeler, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks. These could include aiding our engineering teams in preparing designs or construction plans in Revit, modeling structural design layouts, modeling buildings and equipment, preparing 3D coordination models for construction teams, drafting structural steel fabrication detailed plans, or similar tasks using other software. Experience working with AutoCAD 3D or Revit is highly preferred, as this software will be a minimum weekly, if not daily.
