Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of hands-on forklift experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely operating a sit-down forklift to load, unload, move, stage, and organize materials and products throughout the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move and transport materials.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Move, stage, and organize pallets and products in designated warehouse areas.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report any mechanical or safety issues.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Verify product quantities and locations when moving inventory.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and warehouse management.
• Work efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on safety and accuracy.
• Properly handle and secure materials to prevent damage or injury.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of sit-down forklift operating experience.
• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
• Must be able to safely operate a sit-down forklift in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be willing and able to work the Sunday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule .
• Must follow all OSHA/company forklift and warehouse safety requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current or previous forklift certification.
• Experience loading and unloading trailers.
• Experience working with pallets and warehouse inventory.
• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems.
• Previous distribution, logistics, or shipping/receiving experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely operate a forklift for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position.
• Ability to bend, reach, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment that may include varying temperatures, noise, and heavy equipment.
