Overview Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta – Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) is responsible for delivering a suite of payment services to financial institutions. The FNOC Sr. Analyst role supports the newly deployed FedNow instant payment service as part of FRFS’s mission‑critical initiatives. Shift & Location 3rd shift (12:00am - 9:00am EST), Wednesday through Sunday. Hybrid schedule with specified on‑site days. Locations: Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Seattle. Responsibilities Monitor and manage the FedNow Service, performing critical operational activities. Work with partner stakeholder teams to mitigate risks and support participant onboarding. Execute ongoing operational tasks, identifying opportunities for process standardization and automation. Act as an escalation point for Level1 customer support, fulfilling customer requests. Provide expert guidance and technical support to clients and internal teams on all FedNow‑related issues. Facilitate high‑pressure troubleshooting calls for production issues. Manage and document service requests escalated from Level1 support. Develop, maintain, and share comprehensive documentation for knowledge and procedures. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to assess functional needs, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend solutions. Conduct training, mentor analysts, and deliver performance feedback. Support customer onboarding for new FedNow customers. Monitor customer success metrics and KPIs. Work on internal risk and compliance inquiries related to audits. Perform backend operational tasks such as billing, accounting, and reconciliation. Assist with participant profile verifications, onboarding, and maintenance. Support internal tasks related to bank mergers and account closures within FedNow. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years relevant experience or 10+ years relevant experience. Experience working within 24/7 support operations for a large enterprise. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a demanding environment and handle multiple competing priorities. Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts clearly. Initiative and innovation toward improving customer experience. Motivated, energetic, adaptable, intellectually curious, and growth‑oriented. Optional: Familiarity with ISO20022 messages, ITIL certification. Additional Responsibilities Provide feedback in the hiring process and performance assessment of team members. Consult on and review publicly available Federal Reserve documentation. Adopt a continuous improvement mindset by identifying and providing feedback on efficiency opportunities.
