Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in specialty License: Registered Nurse license (state-specific or compact) Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross certification required Must-Have: 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty; 18 months of experience may be considered under certain conditions Description: This travel position requires a willingness to float to other units and hospitals. Candidates must be open to working 36 or 48 hours per week as needed. Holidays and every other weekend are required. The unit cares for patients with kidney-related conditions, including acute or chronic kidney disease that may require renal replacement therapy. Nurses in this area manage a patient ratio of 1:6 and specialize in post-hemodialysis and ongoing peritoneal dialysis. The team values robust collaboration with community nephrologists and family practice providers. They are dedicated to offering the best care possible for renal patients. The nursing team supports patients at every step of their journey, from diagnosis to treatment and beyond.
