Description Generalist, Administrative Assistant to Executive Director, 1 FTE Job Summary The Generalist - Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director provides broad-based administrative and operational support to an Executive Director and their assigned functional area (e.g., Human Resources, Curriculum & Instruction, Special Education, Pupil Services, or similar divisions). The role is designed to ensure efficient day-to-day operations, support departmental initiatives, and assist with projects aligned to the Executive Director's area of expertise. This position performs a wide range of professional support duties including coordination of processes, documentation management, financial tracking, and cross-departmental communication. The role requires strong organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Qualifications Three (3) to five (5) years of administrative, office, or related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organizational and time management skills. Experience supporting leadership-level administrators preferred. Public sector or school district experience preferred. Working Conditions 8 hours per day, 5 days per week and 260 days per school year calendar. Per current Lakota salary schedule, starting at $22.39 per hour, based on verified experience.
