Automation Engineer

This role will work directly with the automation leadership team to execute robotics and automation projects, with a strong focus on controls system integration, architecture, and manufacturing automation strategy.What You'll Do Design, program, troubleshoot, and optimize industrial automation systemsLead controls integration projects from concept through commissioningDevelop and modify PLC, HMI, and SCADA applicationsSupport robotics integration projects involving ABB and Fanuc robotsCreate and maintain electrical designs, controls documentation, and programming standardsCollaborate with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams across multiple facilitiesImprove production reliability, safety, quality, and overall plant efficiencyServe as a technical leader and mentor for automation and controls initiativesRequired Experience 10+ years of automation experience in a production or manufacturing environment10+ years of hands‑on programming experience, including: HMI / SCADA systemsMachine and motion control systemsElectromechanical systemsSystem integrationExperience with Ignition is requiredExperience working with ABB roboticsFanuc roboticsPowerFlex drivesKinetix drivesIdeal Background Heavy industrial or manufacturing automation experienceStrong understanding of controls architecture and industrial networkingAbility to lead projects independently with minimal oversightStrong communication and technical leadership skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
