Physician Assistant - Neonatology

We are seeking a Physician Assistant specialized in Neonatology to provide comprehensive care in a Level III NICU and neonatal nursery. Responsibilities include: caring for newborns, performing neonatal consults during high-risk deliveries, and executing therapeutic procedures such as IV insertions, intubation, ventilator management, lumbar puncture, and catheterizations. Re-evaluating patient health, prescribing treatments per protocols, ordering and monitoring lab tests, and collaborating with physicians on abnormal findings and interventions. Participating in high-risk deliveries, supervising and training pediatric residents, and engaging in quality improvement projects. Providing coverage mainly during nights and weekends, working alongside neonatal attendings in a call model with 24/5 in-house support. Qualifications Include Current NCCPA certification and NYS registration. NRP, BLS, Infection Control, and Moderate Sedation Certifications. Preferably at least 2 years of NICU Level III experience or equivalent; new graduates considered.
