This role involves providing exceptional general medical surgical nursing care in a dynamic acute care setting. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans
• Engage in inter-professional communication and coordination
• Utilize electronic health records (Epic) for documentation
• Manage IV therapy, including heparin and insulin drips
• Operate medical equipment such as IV pumps and wound vacs
• Provide post-operative care for minor surgeries and procedures

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Minimum 1.5 years of Level 1, Level 2, or tertiary experience
• At least 1 year of Med Surg experience in a large hospital (450+ beds)
• Valid BLS certification
• Current IN State or compact RN license
