Quality Assurance Engineer

In this position, you will join the Quality Assurance (QA) team. Your main role will be to ensure the end-to-end quality of digital products and services, designing, executing, and maintaining functional and automated tests on mobile applications, backend/APIs, external integrations, and databases. You will have the autonomy to prioritize and resolve the QA backlog, ensuring reliable and production-ready critical flows in run and grow contexts.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute end-to-end tests for critical business flows (Cash In/Out, Plin, Liguea, and Onboarding) covering Flutter app (Android/iOS), APIs, external integrations, and data persistence.
• Maintain and evolve the mobile end-to-end automation suite with Maestro/Qmetry or equivalent tools (Appium, Selenium), ensuring stability, maintainability, and reusability.
• Automate and validate backend/API services using Karate DSL, Postman, RestAssured, or equivalents, incorporating positive, negative, error, and regression scenarios.
• Assemble and orchestrate tests developed in complete business journeys, building end-to-end regression suites.
• Validate integrations with third parties (payment gateways, CCE, Plin, and other services) considering transactional consistency, errors, timeouts, reversals, and flow traceability.
• Perform validations on databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, DocumentDB, and/or DynamoDB) to check data integrity, states, and consistency.
• Manage the QA backlog and defects autonomously, determining severity and priority, raising evidence, and coordinating resolution with development and product.
• Leverage observability tools (Kibana, Grafana, or similar) and AI (Claude, Kiro, Codex, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate analysis, test plans, cases, scripts, and continuous quality process improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA, with solid, verifiable experience in end-to-end automation.
• 2+ years of experience in mobile automation (ideally on applications built with Flutter).
• Practical experience in mobile end-to-end automation using Maestro, Qmetry, Appium, or Selenium.
• Experience in backend/API testing automation with Karate DSL, Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent tools.
• Handling queries and data validation in relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, DocumentDB, and/or DynamoDB).
• Use of test management and tracking tools: Jira + X-Ray, Qmetry, or equivalents; handling agile methodologies and autonomy in defect triage/prioritization.
• Active use of AI tools applied to the QA cycle (Claude, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Kiro) to accelerate test plans, case generation, and script writing.

Desirable

• Previous experience in the Fintech, Banking, or Payment Sector (including knowledge of card networks and transfers like CCE/Plin).
• Use of observability tools for log and incident analysis (Kibana, Grafana, or similar).
• Technical or higher level of English.
