Recruiter Master Trainer (RMT) Delaware and Washington DC

This position is contingent upon the modification of the current RMT contract and the award of Option Year Three (3). The projected start date is 3 August 2026. Summary The Recruiter Master Trainer (RMT) plays a critical role in the development, coaching, and mentoring of Recruiting and Retention Non-Commissioned Officers (RRNCOs) within the Army National Guard. Serving as a subject matter expert in recruiting processes and techniques, the RMT is responsible for assessing individual and team performance, developing and delivering structured training programs, and fostering continuous professional growth to enhance recruiting and retention success. This position requires dynamic leadership, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching and guiding others in a fast‑paced, result‑driven environment. Competencies Effective interpersonal communication across diverse teams Teaching and facilitation expertise Training objective design and assessment Strong organizational and coordination skills Curriculum and instructional design Preparation of instructional aids and materials Delivery of technical, operational, and specialty training Consultation and collaboration on complex training needs Training needs assessment and program responsiveness Comprehensive training program development Work Environment Classroom/office and field‑based settings Occasional outdoor and offsite instruction Participation in recruiting events, including those requiring travel or outdoor work Physical Demands Clear verbal communication Physical demonstration of tasks (e.g., electronic automation, field work) Frequent travel by car, plane, or other means Physical presence at events and assigned locations is required Travel Requirements Yes, with standard DOD travel reimbursement rates. 75–50% local travel required 25–50% regular overnight TDY travel in support of contract or mission execution Required Education and Experience Minimum five years of successful military recruiting experience (or a Master Badge if prior ARNG or Army recruiter or equivalent from another branch) Preferably served in a leadership position with any Recruiting Command as at least a Team Leader, or equivalent (senior E6 or E7) Preferred Education and Experience Previous experience as an ARNG RR 1SG or NCOIC A college degree is preferred but not required for RMTs Prior experience as an RRBN Master Trainer Background in RRBN Operations or as a MEPS Guidance Counselor Additional Eligibility Requirements Must complete 48 hours of in‑person training per month Normal hours: 07:30–17:00, Monday–Friday (excluding Federal holidays); flexibility required Valid state‑issued driver’s license and automobile insurance required Work Authorization / Security Clearance NACLC and POSTA screening required Affirmative Action / EEO Statement MAT, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or military service.
