You will maintain a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with the community. Pay Rate: $19.28 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, issue access credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and vehicle records.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and support site rules.
• Communicate professionally with residents, guests, management, and emergency responders while documenting incidents and access-control activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
