As a Security Officer Front Desk Access Coordinator in Lake Mary, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will welcome visitors, support access control, manage badges, and maintain a professional presence. You will help create a secure, customer-focused environment through clear communication and attentive service. Pay Rate: $16.53 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors at a front desk location within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment by following site-specific procedures and access protocols.
• Monitor entry activity, verify visitor credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor records in accordance with site policies.
• Answer and route incoming calls, provide directions and general assistance, and communicate professionally with building occupants and authorized personnel.
• Observe front desk and lobby activity, report unusual conditions or policy concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access through courteous access-control practices.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
