Job Purpose: Maintain the Logistics Billing department’s accounting 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·         Interline Payables Processing

·         Accounts Receivable Processing

·         Accounts Payable Processing

·         Billing charges verification

·         Maintain and track documents related to assigned loads to carriers and their agreed rates and fees to the customers.

·         Complete the 3-way matching verification for payment process of invoices

·         Review invoices and check requests

·         Sort and match invoices and check requests

·         Set invoices up for approval and payment

·         Reconciliation of payments

·         Resolve invoice discrepancies

·         Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries

 

Consults with:

• Accounting Manager
• Accounting Analyst
• Dispatch Manager
• Dispatch Supervisor
• Dispatch Clerks

 

Education and/or Experience:

 

·         Requires 1-2 years of work experience

·         Requires 6 months experience with TruckMate Software

·         Good organizational skills

·         Strong sense of teamwork

·         Able to adhere to strict deadlines

Strong computer skills required; excellent with Excel and all Microsoft Office Automation

 

Reasoning Ability: 

 

·         Must be able to interact with all levels of Management and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
