As the Sr Grants & Contracts Specialist you will provide comprehensive support across proposal review, submission, and award management systems. In this role, you will act as the primary sponsor-facing contact for contractual matters while ensuring strict internal compliance from initial application through the Notice of Award. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree along with 3 years of grants and contracts experience related to healthcare/medical programs with strong attention to details and highly organized. If you're seeking your next opportunity, apply now!ResponsibilitiesServe as an expert advisor to faculty and departments, conducting thorough proposal reviews for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to sponsor guidelines.Establish submission timelines, coordinate with signing officials, and submit final, approved proposals to funding agencies and sponsors.Review and negotiate legal terms, conditions, and contracts, including industry-sponsored clinical trial agreements and coordination of patient-care budgets.Perform post-award analysis, oversee account setup, and manage Just-In-Time (JIT) requests, progress reports, and administrative changes (e.g., no-cost extensions, scope revisions).Ensure accurate, up-to-date documentation and records management across departmental systems throughout the entire pre- and post-award lifecycle.Qualifications/Background ProfileBachelor's Degree Business, Health Care, Public Administration or related field. Master's degree in similar fields is preferred.Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in grants or contracts related to biomedical research, and/or healthcare/medical programs and services.Working Knowledge: NIH Grants Policy Statement (12/03), FAR and DFAR clauses, OMB Circulars A-110, A-122 and A-133 in addition to 45 CFR Part 74, Appendix E.Proficient in MS OfficeThis job is Hybrid Remote. Pay Range: Salary $75,000.00 to $90,000.00.
