Job overview

Provide accounting and accounts payable support to the accounting department and general support to the office by coordinating facilities maintenance, and general office tasks as needed. This position requires attention to detail while performing repetitive accounts payable processes and the ability to perform light physical labor while performing general office.


Your day-to-day

• Perform light accounting tasks and clerical tasks related to the processing of accounts payable transactions. This includes both a detailed review of the items listed on the check stub to the invoices, scanning images into the imaging system and verifying items that have been scanned into the invoice imaging system.


• Assist with gathering and organizing documents for special projects.

• Scanning and indexing various accounting related documents.

• Assisting Property Accountants with light accounting and processing Accounts Payable invoices.

• Order and distribute office supplies.

• Cleaning/stocking/ordering supplies for the coffee machine, soda machine, and snacks in the kitchen.


• Operation and maintenance of the postage machine.

• Handle overnight shipping of packages and ordering FedEx supplies.

• Backup for ordering supplies and taking monthly meter readings from the copiers and printers.

Who you are

• Experienced in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel.


• Have effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Flexible hours sometimes required.

• Light work - Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
