The position involves providing care to patients with primary cardiac diagnoses. Patient care includes heart failure, post-cardiac arrest, and patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery. The unit is a blended environment comprising a mix of intensive and intermediate care beds. Nurses will need strong cardiac experience and critical care competencies. Our multidisciplinary team is dedicated to delivering excellent care to our diverse patient population. Nurses will have access to a robust training program covering both beginner and advanced cardiovascular intensive care practices. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in various skills, including managing ventilated patients and administering continuous IV sedation.
