And you will do meaningful work that makes a difference for our educators and students as you:* Serve as the administrative official with responsibility for the educators, students, management, and operations of the school.* Help articulate the school’s mission and vision with the aim of ensuring all have a common understanding and are positioned to work cooperatively.* Select and hire educators and support them to be successful in their roles and supervise the implementation of the educational and instructional programs.* Maintain high standards of student safety, conduct, and corrective action as necessary while acting as a student advocate to ensure the rights of all students are respected and that all have equal access to the educational opportunities necessary to meet their needs and abilities.* Promote effective communication and cooperation among educators, students, parents and the community.* Create a safe environment that cultivates learning, engages the interests of the students and educators and allows them to perform at their very best.* Guide others through a variety of leadership activities designed to promote the social, physical and intellectual growth that is needed for success.* Master our proven philosophy of education and guide the learning process and educators and students toward the achievement of the goals and celebrate them when they do their best work.* Encourage educators and students to uphold our values and model mature behavior and good character throughout their lives.*Meet the qualifications that set you up for success** Having a master’s degree in education, educational leadership, or closely related field.* Holding a state department of education principal preK-12 administrative certification in the state the position is located in.* Having four years of proven, successful experience as a classroom teacher with qualified content expertise.* Having three years of supervisory/leadership experience.* Having knowledge of principles/practices of school administration.* Holding a current IVP level one fingerprint clearance card and passing a criminal history background check.* Creating positive, powerful energy that fuels our school spirit.
