Location: Sanford, FL Position Type: Permanent Shift: Day Shift | 5 Days/Week (Rotating Weekends)

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist (PT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an acute care setting. This role involves evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to improve patient outcomes across the continuum of care.

Schedule Details

• Day shift (8-hour shifts; start time between 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM)

• Rotating weekends:

  • Initially 4 weekends/month, gradually decreasing to 2/month

  • Weekdays off provided when working weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions aligned with physician orders

• Assess functional status and adjust care plans as needed

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and home care

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

• Manage caseload, prioritize treatments, and coordinate care transitions

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT)

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (or higher)

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required

• Open to New Graduates

Compensation & Perks
