Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members.You Have:15+ years of experience in EO, remote sensing, image processing, or image science4+ years of experience leading EO projectsExperience exploiting the electromagnetic spectrum, including electro-optical, to determine the occurrence and location of objects of interestExperience developing, testing, and evaluating new algorithms, processes, met hodologies, and products using EO imagery, including utilizing advanced processing tools such as Python, MATLAB, and Google Earth Engine, to automate scientific processes of EO imagery data to aid analysisExperience communicating with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences on the availability and capabilities of EO imagery products, met hodologies, procedures, and algorithms to enhance analysisExperience applying CV and machine learning ( ML ) techniques to EO imagery and data to address intelligence problemsKnowledge of collection, phenomenology, image formation processes, and exploitation productsKnowledge of the principles of remote sensing and imagery processing, and advanced exploitation met hodsActive TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph examBachelor's degree in Image Science, Remote Sensing, Earth Science, Physical Science, CS, Statistics, or a STEM field and 15+ years of experience in EO, or 20+ years of experience in EO in lieu of a degreeNice If You Have:Experience acquiring new data, potential latency asso cia ted with acquisition, data formats, and security domainsExperience pre-processing and standardizing data to match existing data standards or be transformed into a usable state for labeling and model testing purposesExperience with collaboration, including with SAR Imagery Scientists to provide coincident EO imageryKnowledge of potential differences between new sensor characteristics and capabilities compared to currently utilized platformsKnowledge of the potential differences in met adata, data format, and data structure characteristics regarding changes to databases, schemas, APIs, and other ETL- related processes for the ingestion and movement of data when integrating into the existing data operations pipelineKnowledge of how to investigate gaps in the emerging sensor capability that may need to be supplemented by other sourcesMaster's degree in a Science field preferred ; Doctorate degree in a Science field a plusClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
