District Sales Manager, Industrial Refrigeration

What you will do The District Sales Manager will promote the sale of Food and Beverage equipment within an assigned territory, support refrigeration contractors by providing technical and commercial information, and create demand for Frick equipment with both end users and engineers. The role requires providing feedback to the factory on commercial and technical issues to guide product development and commercial strategy. How you will do it Provide technical and commercial information to customers to promote the sale of refrigeration equipment, primarily to contractors. Provide sales feedback to regional management and factory personnel on field activities, including customer perception of Frick products, competitive moves, industry trends, and job outcomes. Create demand for Frick equipment purchase through refrigeration contractors. Gather project bidding information to enable Frick to maximize profits on each project. Engage in industry associations to promote Frick equipment (RETA, IARW, PIA, ASHRAE, etc.). This position requires extensive travel for face‑to‑face contact with customers. Thirty to fifty percent of the working day is required with customers outside of the office, often outside normal working hours. What we look for Required: A bachelor’s degree from college or university in Engineering or Engineering technology, or related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of industrial refrigeration components and equipment. A background in industrial refrigeration sales/engineering, refrigeration contracting, or food freezing. Six or more years of experience and demonstrated ability in a refrigeration technical school. Salary Range: $57,000–86,000, with compensation determined by education, experience, and market data. The role includes a competitive Sales Incentive Plan based on volume and margin, quarterly and annually, and a benefits package.
