The ideal candidate is organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and schedule work, set and monitoring furnaces, and inspect finished parts. Positions open on 2nd and 3rd shift./ppResponsibilities of the Metal Treating Machine Operator:/pulliLearn start up, loading shut down procedures for each piece of equipment in cell/liliResponsible for set up and monitoring of the temperature controllers and furnace thermo-couples/liliMonitor retort temperatures and dew point/liliSet and track proper gas flows for natural gas, endothermic gas, nitrogen gas, and ammonia gas/liliMonitor oil temperatures for cooling and heating levels/liliAgitation monitoring/liliProper loading racking of parts to minimize distortion/liliUnderstand tempering guidelines based on actual AQ hardness readings/liliResponsible for overseeing the operations of the generator/liliDetermine proper hardness inspection location for AQ testing/liliUnderstand Tagging Transfer Procedure/liliSafe efficient operations of all production equipment/liliPrioritize processing based on schedule/liliDocument and report any production or maintenance issues to shift supervisor/liliEnsure plant organization cleanliness/li/ulpRequirements of the Metal Treating Machine Operator:/pulliPrior factory work preferred/liliBasic computer skills/liliBasic math knowledge/liliProficient reading skills/liliAble to lift 25 lbs. regularly/liliSafety-focused mindset/liliExcellent written verbal communication skills/liliTime management/liliAttention to detail/liliOrganized/liliAble to work collaboratively with others/liliWillingness to learn and take direction/li/ulpBenefits: Full benefit package offered/p/div
