About the Position
Position Overview
One of our Partners in Washington is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for ongoing inpatient coverage.
This opportunity combines inpatient clinical care, procedural cardiology, and overnight beeper call while working alongside an established cardiovascular team within a large regional health system. Physicians interested in recurring monthly coverage blocks are strongly encouraged to apply.
Provider Pay: $400/hour
Pay Ranking: Top 10% nationally for Interventional Cardiology locum assignments (2026 market data).

- Inpatient-only practice
- Clinical plus call coverage
- Epic EMR
- Average 7 patients per day
- 7:00 AM–5:00 PM onsite coverage
- Overnight beeper call
- 30-minute response requirement
- APP support (4 NP/PAs)
- Board Certification required
- Fellowship training preferred
- Washington License or IMLC accepted
- ACLS required
- BLS required
- Temporary privileges available
- Stroke-certified facility
- Joint Commission Certified staffing partner
- HPA Healthcare is an active member of NALTO
- Orientation day before first shift
- Start date adjusted to credentialing timeline
