Medical Assistant - Certified Medical Assistant

Outpatient Orthopedic Medical Assistant

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 - Occasional Saturday: 08:00–12:00 (1–2 Saturdays/month required)

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years MA experience in an outpatient setting
Orthopedics experience required
MA diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program
BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
Proficiency in blood draw / venipuncture
Experience in wound care and suture removal
Skills in instrument cleaning and autoclaving
Experience with Epic EMR/charting

Roles & Responsibilities:

Room patients and assist with orthopedic-related care
Perform blood draws and venipuncture
Provide wound care and assist with suture removal
Clean and autoclave instruments
Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system

Compliance / Notes:

MA diploma must be from a DAPIP-accredited program; copy required with submission
Two professional references from within the past year required at submission
Any license/background issues must be resolved and accompanied by a written statement if applicable
