Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Plymouth, New Hampshire. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse in the specialty department is responsible for providing comprehensive obstetric care within a healthcare facility. The role requires managing high-risk pregnancies, conducting fetal monitoring, and supporting patients through childbirth in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Job Details Position Description: Must be proficient with experience from patient check-in to pre/post care and discharge. Clinical competence in utilizing the nursing process is essential. The RN will assess and identify patient problems/needs, establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient plan based on progress. Care Management Type(s): Demonstrates clinical competence by utilizing the nursing process. The RN must assess and identify patient problems/needs, establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress. Special Requirements: Experience managing high-risk pregnancies, including preterm labor, high blood pressure, diabetes, VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean Section), prenatal testing, and amniocentesis. Fetal Monitoring Experience: REQUIRED Submission Requirements: 2 years of recent Labor Delivery / OB experience REQUIRED Fetal Monitoring Experience REQUIRED Previous travel experience HIGHLY PREFERRED BLS (AHA), AWHONN, NRP certifications required and current at time of submission RTO (Request for Time Off) must be included in submission (limit to 5 days) Work History and recent Labor Delivery skills checklist REQUIRED Supervisory Signed Reference from the past year REQUIRED Active American Heart Association BLS, AWHONN certification, and NRP certification REQUIRED DOCUMENT License verification REQUIRED DOCUMENT Permanent address must be included in submission file REQUIRED Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
