Job Description
Title
Sterile Processing Technician

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of sterile processing experience.
- Experience in a community hospital is preferred.
- Certification in sterile processing (CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA, or equivalent) is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Experience with charting in Epic is required.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Clean and sterilize instruments for campus-wide use, including endoscope processing.
- Conduct endoscope reprocessing and general decontamination.
- Assemble instruments and trays, and prepare case carts.
- Perform high-level disinfection and monitor sterilization processes.
- Ensure proper labeling, wrapping, and use of aseptic techniques.

Compliance / Notes
- Certifications and two professional references required, covering one year within the last three years.
- Must have a vehicle for this assignment.
- Must commit to working three of the following five holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
- Up to 6 days of auto-approved time off, with more requiring approval.
