Seeking a Project Manager 2 for a hybrid contract role with the Commonwealth of Virginia in Richmond, VA. Position Summary The Project Manager for the OpenGov Implementation will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of OpenGov software solutions across the organization. This role ensures that project milestones are met, stakeholders are aligned, and the implementation remains on schedule, within scope, and compliant with operational requirements. The Project Manager will act as the primary liaison between internal departments, OpenGov representatives, and external partners.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs)

Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and software implementation practices. Knowledge of workflow design, process mapping, and change management best practices. Familiarity with government or public-sector operations (preferred, if applicable). Excellent organizational and planning skills to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Skilled in problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet). Ability to lead cross-functional teams and guide them through complex changes. Ability to translate technical concepts into user-friendly language. Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and work under pressure.
