Job Title: Associate Technical Project Manager Location: Acton, MA for 1-2 weeks per quarter. Pay Range : $50/hr - 53.33/hr on w2 Duration: 7+ Month(s) Possibility of Extension Travel Requirement: Must be able to work onsite in Acton, MA for 1-2 weeks per quarter. Job Summary The organization is seeking an Associate Technical Project Manager to support the execution of clinical software and algorithm update initiatives for connected medical device products. This role will focus on operational execution, process improvement, and cross-functional coordination to ensure clinical software builds, deployments, and studies are delivered efficiently. The ideal candidate will develop standardized processes, documentation, and reusable playbooks that improve consistency and accelerate future product updates. Key Responsibilities Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver clinical software builds for algorithm updates while tracking project dependencies and readiness. Design, document, and optimize clinical build processes, beginning with device and phone reuse workflows. Establish standardized processes for managing iOS and Android devices used in clinical studies. Define and document procedures for Over-the-Air (OTA) and Firmware Over-the-Air (FOTA) update capabilities used in clinical environments. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, checklists, and supporting documentation. Create and manage a centralized knowledge repository to enable reuse of processes across future product and algorithm updates. Coordinate cloud monitoring and surveillance activities for active clinical studies and facilitate issue resolution with cross-functional teams. Manage the deployment, validation, and rollout of clinical software builds across study environments and locations. Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, documentation quality, and process standardization. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or another technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Experience coordinating technical projects or programs, preferably within medical devices, digital health, or another regulated industry (FDA, ISO 13485, or similar). Familiarity with mobile software deployment and device management for both iOS and Android platforms. Understanding of OTA/FOTA firmware update processes for connected devices. Strong experience creating process documentation, SOPs, workflows, and operational guides. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, and Cloud/IT. Working knowledge of cloud monitoring, system surveillance, and issue tracking. Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills with the ability to work independently. Exposure to clinical studies, clinical trials, or regulated product operations is preferred.
