Human Resources Coordinator Location: West Bloomfield, Michigan Working Pattern: On-Site Are you an experienced HR professional who enjoys supporting employees throughout their entire career journey? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Human Resources Coordinator to join a leading healthcare provider, supporting the day‑to‑day HR operations of a busy care facility. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, people‑focused and passionate about delivering an exceptional employee experience. Working closely with leadership and department managers, you’ll play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance and HR administration while helping to create a positive and supportive workplace culture. The Opportunity As Human Resources Coordinator, you’ll provide comprehensive HR support across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with employment legislation and company policies. You’ll become a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, helping to attract, retain and support a high‑performing workforce. Key Responsibilities Manage the recruitment administration process and monitor applicant tracking systems Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process Coordinate all pre‑employment checks, including right‑to‑work documentation, references, background checks and compliance requirements Organise and deliver new hire onboarding and orientation programmes Support employee retention initiatives and workforce planning Assist managers with employee relations and problem resolution processes Process benefits enrolment and employee documentation Maintain accurate and confidential HR records Complete workplace injury reports and HR compliance documentation Support wider HR projects and continuous process improvements About You We’re looking for an organised HR professional with excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for supporting people. You’ll ideally have: Associate’s degree with 5+ years’ HR experience, or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline Minimum 3 years’ experience within a Human Resources role Previous experience within healthcare or long‑term care would be highly advantageous Strong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding and HR administration Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion A proactive, customer‑focused approach with excellent attention to detail What’s on Offer?
