Blazer Jobs is partnering with a school district in Montgomery, AL to hire 2 Speech Language Pathologists for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a great opportunity for both Clinical Fellows and CCC-SLPs looking to work in a supportive, school-based setting.
About the Role:
This position primarily supports elementary and middle school students, with a manageable caseload and the opportunity to work within a collaborative team. Candidates with CCCs should be comfortable supervising if needed.
Position Details:
- Location: Montgomery, AL
- Start Date: August 4, 2026
- End Date: May 26, 2027
- Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Setting: Onsite only
- Caseload: ~60 students
- Schools: Typically 1 site (occasionally split between 2)
- Openings: 2 positions
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services
- Conduct evaluations and assessments
- Develop and manage IEPs
- Attend meetings and collaborate with staff and families
- Track progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Supervise CFs (for CCC-SLPs, if applicable)
Qualifications:
- Active Alabama SLP license (ASHA) required
- Alabama Professional Educator License required
- Open to SLP-CFs and CCC-SLPs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Additional Notes:
- Travel candidates are welcome
- Candidates must meet all Alabama credentialing requirements prior to start
