Project Manager- Insurance BackgroundBrentwood TN Pay Rate: $47/hr on w2 all inclusive End client: ClientRemote until restrictions lifted then must be on site in TN Possible temp to direct hire position. No timeline set for "conversion". Due to COVID, this assignment will begin as "remote"; however, once the team returns onsite to work, the contractor's worksite will be 340 Seven Springs Way, Brentwood TN, 37027. Resumes will be reviewed by Job Posting Owner and Dept head, and possibly by a specific Project Manager. Interview process: initial "phone" interviews conducted by Hiring Manager and if candidate progresses in interviews then candidate will also interview with at least one, if not two, other managers.RoleThe Project Manager will support ongoing CBSC strategy and participate in planning for future initiatives to drive new opportunities aligning with CBSCs vision. Responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of assigned projects, driving the process for status reporting, tracking progress, dependency management, issue escalation/resolution for initiatives, and adhering to project budgets.Job DescriptionLead project initiatives within Closed Block Service Center through all phases of project management including scoping and initiation, planning, execution, performance monitoring and project closurePreparation of project plans, tracking progress and status reportingSupport expense management analysis and reporting activities including monthly accrual entries, budget updates, and other ad hoc reports/activitiesCreate regular executive reporting materials to track project variances and explanations for scope, timeline, or budget changesEnsure coordination points with Department Heads and SMEs are established and are working smoothlyCoordinate development of governance documentation including business requirements and functional specificationsWork effectively as a team member and contributorRequired Skills7+ years experience working as a Project ManagerMinimum 10 years experience in complex, multi-segment, corporate environmentsKnowledge of Agile approaches - Kanban, Scrum, etc.Knowledge of JIRA and Clarizen is a plusPMP (Project Management Professional) Certification preferredKnowledge of expense management concepts including financial planning, accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.Insurance or Financial Services experience preferredAdvanced project management and meeting facilitation skillsStrong prioritization skills and reporting capabilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organizationAbility to build and translate a project plan into Agile processesAble to streamline complex requirements to simplify business processesExperience running multiple projects in parallel and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.
