Senior Supplier Quality Engineer

Senior Supplier Quality Engineer Position located in Chaska, MN; on‑site role. Reports to Supplier Quality Manager as part of Reagent Manufacturing Operations. In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To Execute supplier management plans to improve supplier and product performance. Plan and organize routine and non‑routine tasks such as supplier selections, qualifications, change notifications, audits, corrective actions, and supplier scorecards. Develop supplier material control plans as part of product qualification. Act as the primary supplier quality representative for root‑cause and corrective action analysis regarding supplier‑caused manufacturing issues. Visit suppliers to resolve product performance concerns and recommend appropriate field actions to the product regulatory committee. The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include Degree with experience in engineering, science or quality field (Bachelor 5+ yrs; Masters 3+ yrs). Experience in supplier qualification activities such as supplier selection, approval, material qualification, material control, and/or supplier development activities. Expertise in investigating nonconforming materials to understand the root cause of failure and driving corrective actions internally and externally with suppliers. Experience or involvement in supplier monitoring and improvement activities such as supplier performance reviews, process or quality system audits, supplier change notifications, and action plans. Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements Ability to travel – 10% travel, overnight, within territory or locations. Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in Internal or External quality system auditing. FDA regulated environment. Knowledge of GDT and ability to interpret engineering drawings. Benefits The annual salary range is $100,000–$130,000. This role is eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
