Mobile Development Lead

Job Responsibilities:

• Technical Lead for the Mobile Team building iOS and Android apps for a decentralized system based on a Permissioned Blockchain
• You will be reporting directly to the Head of Platform Engineering
• Work with the QA team to help define the testing strategy and test plans for our product releases
• Primarily programming in Java / Objective-C / C++

Qualifications:

• Experience mobile app developer with a background in iOS or Android
• 4+ years professional experience working with Java/Android SDK or iOS. Have at least one or two apps in the store
• A degree in CS, mathematics, EE or similar, or equivalent industry experience
• Deep technical knowledge of mobile application development (either Android or iOS)
• Knowledge of UI frameworks (either Android, iOS, XML), MVP application design and complex, reactive touch based UI
• You have a deep understanding of mobile-specific constraints that can impact user experience (connectivity, battery life, ram, file i/o, etc.)
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as ClojureScript, or JavaScript
• Passion for building scalable, distributed and secure systems
• Comfortable in a test-driven development environment
• Self-motivated, proactive and take ownership of issues
• Thrive and excel in our diverse, distributed and agile team environment
• Skilled in coming up with simple design and elegant code
