Mobile Development Lead
Our Mobile Development Team Lead will work remotely and manage a distributed team building iOS and Android apps for a decentralized system based on a Permissioned Blockchain. Primarily programming in Java/Objective-C/C++Job Responsibilities:
- Technical Lead for the Mobile Team building iOS and Android apps for a decentralized system based on a Permissioned Blockchain
- You will be reporting directly to the Head of Platform Engineering
- Work with the QA team to help define the testing strategy and test plans for our product releases
- Primarily programming in Java / Objective-C / C++
Qualifications:
- Experience mobile app developer with a background in iOS or Android
- 4+ years professional experience working with Java/Android SDK or iOS. Have at least one or two apps in the store
- A degree in CS, mathematics, EE or similar, or equivalent industry experience
- Deep technical knowledge of mobile application development (either Android or iOS)
- Knowledge of UI frameworks (either Android, iOS, XML), MVP application design and complex, reactive touch based UI
- You have a deep understanding of mobile-specific constraints that can impact user experience (connectivity, battery life, ram, file i/o, etc.)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as ClojureScript, or JavaScript
- Passion for building scalable, distributed and secure systems
- Comfortable in a test-driven development environment
- Self-motivated, proactive and take ownership of issues
- Thrive and excel in our diverse, distributed and agile team environment
- Skilled in coming up with simple design and elegant code
