Plant Janitor – Manufacturing Floor

Plateco is a growing manufacturing and plating facility in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, and we are looking for a dependable, hardworking Plant Janitor to help keep our manufacturing facility clean, organized, safe, and looking its best.

This is a hands-on position working throughout the manufacturing floor and facility. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices what needs to be done, and isn't afraid to stay busy and jump in where needed.

What You'll Do:

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the manufacturing floor and facility.
• Sweep, mop, clean, and maintain production and common areas.
• Keep work areas, walkways, and other areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
• Assist with painting and touch-up projects throughout the facility.
• Help organize and maintain supplies, equipment, and designated areas.
• Assist with general upkeep and appearance of the facility.
• Perform basic cleaning and upkeep of the o utside grounds and surrounding areas.
• Help keep dumpsters, trash areas, and other designated areas clean and organized.
• Identify areas that need attention and take initiative to address them.
• Assist with various facility upkeep projects as needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures when working around manufacturing equipment, chemicals, and production areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the plant.

• Previous janitorial or general labor experience is preferred but we will train the right person.
• Ability to safely perform physical tasks associated with cleaning, organizing, painting, and general facility upkeep.

Pay & Benefits:

Starting Pay: $19.00/hour
