Job Title: Kitchen Cook
Locations: High Street, Phoenix, AZ or 1st Ave, Phoenix, AZ
Reports to: Small Kitchen Cook
Classification: Part-Time / Full-Time
Required Certification: Valid Arizona Food Handler’s Card

Position Overview:

The Small Kitchen Cook is responsible for preparing and executing food items with consistency, cleanliness, and care. This position supports both prep, dish, and line cooking duties in a compact kitchen environment, working closely with a small team to deliver quality food quickly and safely. Looking for weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation & Execution:

• Prepare all ingredients for menu.
• Cook menu items according to recipe and plating standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and cleanly.
• Follow food safety, handling, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation during service.
• Completing dish pit duties quickly for a turnaround.

Inventory & Organization:

• Receive, label, and store food deliveries properly.
• Alert management when stock levels are low.
• Assist in minimizing food waste and maintaining portion control.

Team Support & Clean-Up:

• Communicate clearly with the team during prep and service.
• Help with dishwashing and deep cleaning duties.
• Follow all opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures.
