Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, communicating each step with utmost clarity and empathy
• Work closely alongside radiologists and referring providers to deliver high-caliber diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment diligently, addressing any malfunctions in a timely manner
• Precisely document procedures and maintain patient records within our electronic medical system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging methods and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed
