Job Summary The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for leading hospital nursing operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, staff management, and clinical excellence across departments. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing operations and patient care services
• Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, and clinical staff
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, Joint Commission, and state/federal regulations
• Manage staffing, scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
• Monitor infection control, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and operational reports
